Uganda Airlines is set to launch operations between Entebbe, Uganda and Accra, Ghana, commencing October 27, 2026, marking a significant milestone in strengthening connectivity between Uganda and Ghana.

During this pre-launch period, Uganda Airlines is undertaking a series of commercial roadshow activities in Ghana to engage key stakeholders and strengthen market awareness ahead of the inaugural service.

Today, we hosted a Travel Trade Workshop bringing together Ghanaian travel agents and tour operators, providing an opportunity to showcase Destination Uganda and highlight the unique products and services offered by Uganda Airlines.

Over the coming days, we will continue engaging with business executives, tourism stakeholders, trade partners, and consumers across various sectors to explore opportunities for collaboration and to promote the benefits of enhanced connectivity between Uganda and Ghana through this new direct air link.

The commencement of scheduled services to Accra underscores Uganda Airlines’ commitment to connecting Africa and facilitating seamless travel across the continent.

Ghana is an important economic partner for Uganda, and this route will create new opportunities for tourism, trade, investment and people-to-people exchanges.

We are excited to engage the Ghanaian market and showcase the advantages of this new connection.

The new Accra route is expected to serve growing demand for business and leisure and travel between the two countries while strengthening links between West Africa and the wider East African region.
