Inside details of Nana Akua Addo’s divorce demands from estranged husband

New details have emerged about the marriage between Ghanaian fashion icon Nana Akua Addo and her estranged husband, Harold Duodu Norman, following the circulation of videos and photographs of an alleged physical assault incident.

Nana Akua Addo is said to have filed a divorce petition against her husband, which is currently pending before the court.

According to media personality Vim Lady, the divorce petition was filed in April 2026, months before the recent circulation of the alleged assault videos online.

Vim Lady said the divorce was filed through Nana Akua Addo’s lawyers on April 20, 2026, with the fashion icon making a number of demands from her estranged husband.

Nana Akua Addo is reportedly seeking GH¢10 million, the couple’s matrimonial home, another three-bedroom house at Nmai Dzorn, and three apartments around Galaxy International School.

She is also reportedly seeking a Toyota Prado, a 2022 G-Wagon, as well as 40% shares in companies owned by her estranged husband.

Vim Lady further reported that lawyers representing Nana Akua Addo believe they have substantial evidence to establish that the marriage between the two parties has broken down.

“There are about four cases that are currently pending. There is one full-fledged divorce case that Nana Akua Addo filed against her husband in April 2026. The things she is demanding are not a joke. In relation to the alleged assault incident, there are also about three criminal cases currently before the court,” she reported.

Apart from the divorce petition, reports state that there are about three separate criminal cases before the court in connection with alleged assaults.

Details of the divorce case emerged after videos and photographs allegedly showing Nana Akua Addo being physically assaulted circulated widely online.

The fashion icon subsequently came out to clarify that the footage had been leaked without her knowledge or consent.

Contrary to suggestions that she deliberately released the footage herself, Nana Akua Addo stated that the videos and photographs were leaked.

She has since called for the videos to be taken down from social media and urged media platforms to stop circulating them, particularly because the footage shows the faces of minors.

Meanwhile, lawyers for Harold Duodu Norman have denied the allegations that he physically assaulted Nana Akua Addo.

In their response, they claimed that the injury seen in the viral videos and photographs occurred about five years ago, when the fashion icon allegedly attempted to stab him.
