Following a series of reports and videos trending on social media about an Uber driver, whose name has been withheld, being sexually assaulted by three women, new details have emerged.

Recently, GhanaWeb reported an incident that occurred at East Legon Hills, where a ride-hailing driver who lives in Kasoa Budumburam narrated how the said women allegedly sexually assaulted him.

In a recent development, the Uber driver, following the series of reports, has reportedly been compensated by the women involved in the incident.

According to a report by Kasapa FM shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on October 8, 2026, the women who allegedly “gang-raped” the Uber driver compensated him with GH¢105,600.

The report further detailed that the victim had initially agreed to an amount of GH¢100,000, of which the women made a down payment of GH¢50,000.

Meanwhile, the video has triggered massive reactions on social media, with some netizens expressing diverse views.

While some netizens are calling on the Ghana Police Service to arrest the said women, others have noted that the money given to the young Uber driver does not justify the alleged act.
