'Doesn't she have a pestle at home?' - Oheneni Adazoa fumes over Nana Akua's abuse case

Oheneni Adazoa, host of domestic affairs show Ahenfie has suggested that there are two possible reasons why fashion icon, Nana Akua Addo, may have endured abuse from her husband over the years.

Speaking in a snippet from her show, Oheneni indicated that perhaps the man has something on the fashion icon he may blackmail her with if she walked out of the marriage or perhaps the man was too good in bed.

"Accomplished women like Nana Akua would only endure such an abusive marriage for only two reasons.

"She may be enduring it for fear of some videos the man could leak to the public if she left the marriage or the man is too good in bed," she said.

She fumed over the fact that the man slapped his own daughter repeatedly as captured in the widely circulated video.

"Why was Nana Akua just yelling at the man? Isn't there a pestle in the house? She should have hit his waist with pestle to weaken him in the face of such abuse," she fumed.

The assault case of fashionista Nana Akua Addo has sparked discussions across media platforms.

The Gender Minister, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey on October 9, 2026, paid a visit to Nana Akua Addo to ascertain the facts of the matter and assure the family of the Ministry's support to help resolve the matter.

The assault case however, was supposed to be heard before court on October 7, 2026, but Harold Norman (Husband of Nana Akua) could not make an appearance because he had been hospitalised accordin to a police report.
