Sam George and his wife on the dancefloor
Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Ningo-Prampram Member of Parliament, and newly inducted legal practitioner, Samuel Nartey George, Esq, hit the dance floor with his wife at an after-party following his official Call to the Ghana Bar.
In viral clips circulating across social media platforms, the outspoken lawmaker, dressed in sharp evening attire, showcased his playful side, dancing closely with his wife as family, friends, and political associates cheered them on.
The joyous reception followed the 63rd Call to the Bar ceremony held at the ICGC Christ Temple in Accra on Friday, October 9, 2026, where the General Legal Council formally admitted 1,568 new lawyers into the legal profession.
Taking to social media prior to the festivities to give glory to God, the newly minted legal practitioner expressed immense gratitude for completing the grueling academic journey while balancing his demanding public office responsibilities.
Congratulatory messages have since poured in from political colleagues, constituents, and supporters, with many playfully hailing the minister as the latest "Esq." in government.
Sam George was among several prominent public figures called to the Bar in the 2026 cohort, alongside Lands and Natural Resources Minister Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Mpraeso MP Davis Ansah Opoku (OPK), and broadcast journalist Umaru Sanda Amadu.
