Customers have been advised to use alternative channels to submit enquiries
Customers seeking assistance from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will have to use social media or email after a fibre cut disrupted its contact centre telephone line.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, ECG confirmed that its contact centre number, 0302 611 611, was out of service but did not provide a timeline for its restoration.
The company said its technical team was working with the service provider to restore the connection as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, customers have been advised to use alternative channels to submit enquiries and requests for assistance.
They can email help@ecggh.com or contact ECG through @ECGghOfficial on Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused,” the company said.
ECG did not specify where the fibre cut occurred, what caused it or how long repairs were expected to take.

The disruption temporarily prevents customers from using the contact centre telephone line to reach the company, leaving email and social media as the alternative channels provided in the notice.
