The controversies surrounding the marriage of Bishop Daniel Obinim and Florence Obinim are not coming to an end anytime soon, as fresh details about their divorce have emerged.

It may be recalled that in September 2026, GhanaWeb reported that the gospel musician initiated a traditional divorce after more than two decades of marriage by returning traditional drinks to the family of Bishop Obinim.

In a recent development, a video has surfaced online showing Bishop Daniel Obinim detailing a list of demands he claims his former wife, Florence Obinim, has made as part of the settlement for their divorce.

According to Bishop Obinim, Florence Obinim is demanding GH¢2 million, in addition to a guest house and an apartment at 99 Nii Quaye Street.

“She is asking for GH¢2 million and an apartment in Accra at 99 Nii Quaye Street, Abroso Guest House. If she wants that, she should go and complete it because it got burnt recently,” he said.

While detailing Florence Obinim's demands, Bishop Obinim further noted that his former wife is also requesting a house in Barcelona, Spain, as well as GH¢10,000 in monthly allowances, which she claims would be used for healthcare.

Florence Obinim and husband’s divorce saga deepens as fresh details emerge

According to Obinim, his former wife should get more lawyers to represent her, adding that her demands were unreasonable.

“She wants my house in Spain, Barcelona, and she also wants a GH¢10,000 monthly allowance as something she would use for her healthcare.

“She also wants the church at Tema. She wants the headquarters. Why is she mad? Can she stand on this altar and preach? What would her conscience even tell her? So, is this the reason why some people are saying I should keep quiet?” Obinim added.
