Abiriw-Akuapem (E/R), March 26, GNA - A Ghanaian mother, Ms Vida Missah, 57, who had stayed in Cote D'voire for the past 40 years returned to home at Abiriw-Akuapem with two of her daughters born in that country.

She also came along with 34 Ivorians made up of some members of her extended family in Abidjan and other community members with whom she stayed at Ajane, a suburb of Abidjan.

Ms Missah, who was married to an Ivorian in Ghana at the age of 17, had spent her whole life in Cote D'voire but had been visiting Ghana from time to time until the political crisis erupted in that country.

On Thursday, the Akuapem North District Chief Executive, Mr George Opare Addo and officials of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), presented some relief items to the group. The items include three bags of rice, 10 bags of maize, three cartons of soap, 302 pieces of mats, some plastic plates, bowls and cups. He advised the group to be law abiding and be patient as the District Assembly confers with the relevant agencies on their care. The Ivorians are made up of eight males, 10 women and 18 children.
