Keep Obuasi SHTS headmaster away from children - NPP US Chairman

Former NPP US Chairperson, Nana Yaa Amponsah Frimpong, has called for the headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School (SHTS) to be kept away from children, particularly girls, until he is cleared of the sexual abuse allegations against him.

Nana Yaa expressed concern about the potential risk to children while the allegations remain unresolved, arguing that precautionary measures should be taken pending the outcome of the investigation.

She went further to argue that the headmaster should not be allowed to live in the same house with his own children, especially if he has daughters, until the allegations are resolved.

“He is a danger to society,” she declared while speaking on Oyerepa Radio,

Nana Yaa also questioned why the headmaster would potentially be transferred to another school instead of the allegations being thoroughly investigated and resolved.

She described such a transfer as merely moving the problem “Trash” from one school to another, insisting that the safety of students must take priority.
