One Funeral, Two Deaths: Driving display ends in tragedy at Ntom

A funeral in Ntom, in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region, has reportedly turned tragic after a driver lost control of a vehicle during a driving display, killing one mourner.

The incident occurred during the funeral of a deceased driver, where a driver was reportedly performing driving stunts as part of activities organised to honour the late motorist.

The display reportedly took a deadly turn when the vehicle veered off course and drove into an area where mourners had gathered around the body of the deceased, striking a person and leaving one mourner dead.

The incident has cast a shadow over the funeral gathering, which was intended to pay final respects to the deceased but ended in another reported death.

The circumstances surrounding the incident, including the identity of the deceased mourner and the driver involved, have not been established from the information available.

It is also unclear whether police have commenced investigations into the incident.
