The Deputy Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Dr Justice Srem-Sai, has congratulated Raymond Archer on his confirmation as the substantive Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

Archer’s confirmation reportedly took effect on October 27, 2026, with EOCO Board Chairman Daniel Domelevo confirming that he officially assumed the substantive role on that date.

President John Dramani Mahama appointed Archer as Acting Executive Director of EOCO in August 2025.

His appointment followed the reassignment of his predecessor, Abdulai Bashiru Dapilah, to the National Security Secretariat, where he serves as a technical adviser.

Archer’s confirmation comes as EOCO continues its efforts to combat economic and organised crime in Ghana.
