US President Donald Trump and UFC CEO Dana White
United States President Donald Trump has offered the role of White House press secretary to longtime Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dana White.
In a post shared on Truth Social on November 7, 2026, the president indicated that he had offered the position to the UFC boss, whom he described as a fighter and warrior who would defend his administration against its opponents.
He further stated that White would be allowed to bring on board other individuals to assist him in carrying out the role, including several fighters to strengthen his team.

"I am pleased to announce that the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior, has been offered the job of Press Secretary of the United States. I have requested that he bring with him assistants, even though some are not from our Country, of Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris.
"We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left. Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” Trump wrote.
However, CNN reported that the UFC CEO was not interested in the position, as he preferred to focus on his current role and contribute to the growth of the organisation.
Other reports from the White House suggested that Trump's post was not a serious announcement but rather a joke.
Meanwhile, White, during a boxing press conference in London, said he already had “a lot of jobs” and would be travelling to Washington, DC, to meet the president and amusingly discuss various matters.
