The management of SSB Bank is embarking on a transformation process to build the bank into an efficient and profitable bank in order to render quality services to customers as well as compete with effectively other commercial banks in the country.
The Managing Director of SSB Bank, P. K. Thompson said the bank intends to upgrade its infrastructure, procedures and personnel to cut down on the time customers spend transacting business at the bank. Mr. Thompson, who was speaking at the commissioning of the bank's model branch at ring-road central, is optimistic that the revised queuing system and new procedures will facilitate easier banking.
The model branch is expected to serve as the pilot branch to develop new operational procedures and to test new IT systems. The Managing Director further announced the bank's intention to take banking to the deprived areas especially the cocoa growing areas by opening new branches.
