New Delhi, February 24 --- The Bajaj Tempo, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Kirloskar Brothers Ltd, Magnun International Trading Co, Metalbeds India, Panalpina World Transport (India), Tata Ghana Ltd and CMC Ltd are exploring opportunity in African countries.
A 10 member Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) delegation representing pharmaceuticals, information technology, diesel engines, transportation, textiles, sports goods, hospital equipment is visiting Ghana, Ethiopia, and Nigeria from February 24-March 5, 2002. The business delegation is led by managing director of KLR Rigs company K Laxma Reddy.
The mission programme which is being coordinated by the Indian missions in the three countries will include business promotion seminars, one to one business meetings with potential partners, key decision makers and various investment and trade promotion agencies and association’s partners in the three countries, a CII statement said.
CII in the last few years has been giving a special focus to promoting business cooperation between India and the countries of Africa.
