Chief Executives should identify with the people - Ofosu Ampofo

Tema, Dec. 25, GNA - Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development on Saturday reminded District, Municipal and Metropolitan Chief Executives that his Ministry would not tolerate "armed-chair" executives.

The Chief Executives, he said, must therefore go out there and identify with the electorate and lead them to clean their environment as " we enter the election year.".

Mr Ofosu Ampofo, who is also the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Tema West gave the reminder after joining the residents of Community Three in a clean-up exercise.
