Teacher installed Sanaahene of Denkyira

Denkyira Krobo (C/R), Dec 31, GNA - Dr. Kojo Essiem Mensah-Abrampa, an educationist, has been installed Sanaahene of Denkyira Traditional Area under the stool name Nana Dr. Essiem Kwaakontan III.

Mr. Mensah-Abrampa, who is also the Deputy Head of Region for the United Nations Capital Development Fund of the Southern and Eastern Africa Region, succeeded his uncle Nana Kwaakontan II who died last year.

The ceremony was observed at Jukwa Krobo amidst pomp and pageantry during which Nana Kwaakontan III was carried in a palanquin through the principal streets of the Krobo Township.

He later swore an oath of allegiance to a representative of Odeefo Boamponsem III, Denkyirahene.
