Shocker NDC Primaries...10 MPs Defeated

Saturday’s round of parliamentary primaries in constituencies where the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sitting Members of Parliament is producing interesting results, as reports reaching peacefmonline.com indicate that some stalwarts in the ruling party have been knocked out cold.

Results emanating from various centres indicate that so far ten (10) sitting MPs have lost their seats.

The casualties include the Mfantsiman East MP and Deputy Majority Chief Whip, Kuntu Blankson, Ho Central MP, Capt. George Mfodwo, MP for Twifo–Atti Morkwa in the Central Region and Deputy Education Minister, Elizabeth Amoah Tetteh, MP for Kumbungu, Alhaji Imoro Yakubu, MP for North Tongu in the Volta Region, Charles Hodogbey and MP for Keta, Richard Larsey Agbenyefia.

The rest are MP for Lower Manya Krobo in the Eastern Region, Michael Teye Nyaunu, MP for Builsa North in the Upper East Region, Timothy Awoturim Ataboadey, MP for Yilo Krobo in the Eastern Region, Raymond Tawiah and MP for Sissala East and Minister of State at the Presidency, Hajia Rafatu Alhassan Dubie Halutie.
