GLICO General recently organized a strategic training programme for its newly recruited marketing and sales force to promote the company’s unique and beneficial products as well as services nationwide.
Jos Anyimah Ackah, Head of the Corporate Affairs of the company, commenting on the training, said it will help the new agents to work effectively as a team and help GLICO General to achieve its annual sales targets.
“In the highly competitive Ghanaian insurance market, GLICO General Insurance Company is set to broaden its market base to increase the volume of sales and profits this year,” Mr Anyimah Ackah noted.
He said the agents were trained by key management personnel of GLICO, who had acquired in-depth knowledge and experience over the years in the general insurance industry.
“The trainees have lauded the programme and described it as very useful. They have been equipped with the practical knowledge and skills to go into the market to sell insurance products and services of GLICO General.”
