Rev Alphonse Kodzo-Kuma, Moderator of the Ho-East Presbytery of the Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Church of Ghana, on Friday said posterity will not forgive politicians whose actions and inactions throw the country into chaos.
Rev Kodzo-Kuma was delivering the opening address at the 3rd Ho-East Presbytery Conference of the church in Ho.
The Conference, on the theme, “Strategic Evangelism for Sustainable Growth and Development,” was attended by about 200 delegates from the 17 districts of the presbytery, heads of second cycle schools and executives of church groups.
Rev Kodzo-Kuma advised the youth against riotous behaviours at the instance of “self-seeking” politicians.
“Let us all strategise and work diligently to protect the peace we are enjoying,” he said.
Rt Rev Francis Amenu, Moderator of the General Council of the Church, said the Church had started revamping its dormant projects to contribute to job creation in the country.
Mr Douglas Asamany, A systems Analyst and a Director of the Forestry Commission, who was the Guest of Honour, said the Church should “speak the people’s language and indentify with them”.**
