The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MOFEP) said it has not withdrawn the Mid-Year Review of the Budget Statement and Economic Policy and Supplementary Estimate presented to Parliament.
The statement was presented to parliament by the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning on Wednesday July 18, 2012.
A statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Ministry on Friday however clarified that the Ministry only recalled the documents distributed to Members of Parliament for correction, and not the one laid at the Clerks Table.
It said the printed document distributed to members was found to contain typographical and formatting errors.
It therefore reiterated that the document laid at the Clerks Table by the Minister was still with Parliament, while the correction has been effected and the document sent back to Parliament.**
