Unconfirmed reports reaching a local FM station indicates that, President J. A. Kufuor will soon announce a reshuffle of his cabinet and ministers.
Sources close to the Presidency say, contrary to initial expectation, Nana Akuffo Addo will retain his double portfolio as Minister for Justice and Attorney General. However, Hackman Owusu Agyeman will be relieved of his post as Foreign Minister. He will be returning to Parliament, probably as a Majority Leader. Mr Owusu Agyeman will be replaced by Alhaji Malik Yakubu, former Interior Minister.
However, Ghanaweb has received an unconfirmed "tip" that the foreign ministry will be run from the castle.
Miss Christine Churcher is going to head the Ministry of Tourism.
Education Minister, Christopher Ameyaw Ekumfi will be swapping places with the Environment and Science Minister, while the deputy Minister of Education. Rashid Bawa, goes to the north as regional minister.
