They use their theology of bible to deceive many in God, to think their social security numbers come from God but themselves, hence their leaderships on earth. Giving sanctions on nation who disagree to their phony philosophies that some Ghanaian of J.A KUFOUR traits has asorbed as Christianity, trying to plant them in Ghana my dear nation. Where as God the creator gives all nations rain water, air to brief and sunshine to energise our ecology, this phony Lord of the earth use sanctions to famished others because of their ideology.

You know what, lets determine the scientific center of Ghana, and place everything over there, that way every freak in this country will be equally satisfied. What rubbish!
First and foremost, Kumasi is the last place for anything on earth to be place. People born and bred in that part of the country are distrustful, full of hegemonic tendencies, tribal affiliations and some simply backward and revealing habits. Everything is about them and only them. The people from those parts of the country are not hospitable. If you don't talk, eat, shit or sing like them they ate you till death. If you don't believe they are as good or better than you, Supreme Court might as well be the judge.
Don't we already have an Airport in Kumasi, if you folks up there think you all that, how the hell is that place so shitty.
Accra is IT! Unfortunately too many useless people have illegally migrated to that beautiful city and choked it almost to extinction. It is reviving, and it will survive. Bottom line is Ghana is growing in circles, we need an Airport in all regional capitals, so lets just toss a dice and pick out of 7 places, and we will follow the list from the basket picks.
In Ghana, people will sell you shit in a black plastic bag, and swear it is a healing medicine. Go ahead sell Kumasi to the Chinese!
The problem is not ACCRA. The problem is the type of people we breed and allow to invade the capital!

This is certainly a good piece that opens minds to greater possibilities for growth and optimism. A second international airport that meets optimum international standards is certainly in a good direction taking into consideration the growth that Ghana is experiencing. International iarport in Kumasi,Sunyani or Tamale is a good consideration. However this should not be based on tribal sentiments. The final decision should be properly researched and objectively made. I also agree with your suggestion on improving Accra airport. Good writing.

If the major thrust of your argument if decentralisation then Tamale and not kumasi should be the ideal place. It takes lesser hours to comote from Accra to kumasi compared with Tamale. Now let me tell you why Tamale is the preferred location for Ghana's Second international aiport.
1. Tamale is located at the sahelian and so an airport in tamale will not only serve the so call 45percent you talk about but, will also serve Burkina faso and other sahelian countries bring it the needed foreign exchange for our development.
2. Tamale has vast spans of land secured during Nkrumah's regime for the second international airport. The project started very well in 1964 and has since being stalled after the overthrow of the nkrumah's regime. Where do we get a land that will serve Ghana several decades to come in kumasi? If we go for kumasi then it means that the same congestion that we are talking about will be raise in the near future. The topography of kumasi is not also good for an international airport that is why attempts by the kufour government in 2001 to move the airport project from Tamale to kumasi did not materialise.
3. Kumasi has had its fair share of development on the back of the north. In the 70s and 80s almost all major project that was to serve the north was place in Kumasi: the second teaching hospital, the second university, the second military hospital etc. Now the north has arrive and can host the projects that are truly ours. An international airport in tamale will diverse Ghana's economy and take it away from just the Accra - kumasi- Takoradi triangle to include the north.
4. Its not true that if a plane can not land in kotoka then it can make it to Tamale. Majority of flights fly into Ghana from europe and the americas. Most of these plans pass tamale to get to Accra. It will therefore be cheaper to land in tamale because the journey will be shorter.

Tell me, apart from People from the three Northern Regions, who are just under 5% of Ghanaian Diasporians and a small part of B/A, who will use the Tamale International airport to travel? Ashanti region alone has about 50% of all diasporians and add B/A to it that will use Kumasi International airport and you are talking about 70% of Diasporians who will use Kumasi Airport. Nobody from Ashanti region will use Tamale to travel because it is too far and the road network is not good either. Tamale too unlike Accra does not have hotels to cater for the travellers from B/A and Ashanti region for the lay overs as Accra.
Tamale International Airport is politically convenient but will be an economic disaster.
