Your problem is that your command of the English language lets you down even when you want to make a good point. Why don't you learn to use words and terms properly? "A tool"?

The writers problem is that he decided to quote Thomas Aquinas instead of Dr. Kwegyir Aggrey at the beginning of his article hence his description of women as 'tools'. Thomas Aquinas's description of women as 'necessary objects' is indeed wrong. Ghanaian women are citizens of equal rights and privileges and we must keep telling them tell they accept it. The trap most of the northern men fall into is their view of women and that leads to their subjugation of them(women). In fact, in my travels, I have noticed that other nationals see our women as soft targets and these saddens me. It is time we train, encourage and empower our Ghanaian women not to only see themselves as tools and productive objects but fellow citizens if Ghana is to develop and be respected again around the world.

A good point made. This applys to all woman in Ghana and especially the rural areas where they work hard.In all it comes to we men in understandin our cultural treament twoards woman and how our faith play a role in all this. All has to be an education to the men too for if as men we understand what woman goes through and as they are our mothers then from then will changes be comin and the opportunities will be open, for if you dont want ur sister or ur daugther to be treated wrongly and want the best for them you will have to do the same to someones a fair treatment and from there it will grow and the chance of woman education and what they can contribute which they have been doin much will be well appriciated
