Ghana’s Afro pop singer Rebecca Acheampong aka Becca, who has carve a niche for herself in the music scene in Ghana and Africa yesterday the 16th of May, 2013 in a unique fashion launched her album to her fans by ensuring that the all Ghanaian households had a copy of TIME 4 ME.
The sensational Afro-pop artiste, whose live stage musical performances have won the hearts of many music fans across the world did make her fans to get hold of her CDs first hand by adding it to every single copy of the Thursday edition of Graphic Showbiz newspaper in Ghana, therefore making over ten thousand fans to grab and keep a copy of the TIME 4 ME album as a souvenir.
Becca’s anticipated album had generated a lot of expectations among a large number of music fans and the general public. Those who have had the opportunity to listen to some of the songs on the album find it difficult to rate her, simple put she is ‘phenomenal’.
With TIME 4 ME album having beautiful songs like: Time 4 Me, Naked I came, Follow the Leader, Masukunmo (a song with Yoruba lyrics), No Away ft M.I., Bad Man Bad Girl ft 2Face, among others, music critics cum pundits are already adjudging that this album will be one of the best to come out of Ghana this year thus, tipping it for greater accolades.
The ‘Da ke da’ crooner, who launched her musical career in Ghana on November 2007 with her maiden album ‘Sugar’, is among a few music stars who have been consistent on the music platform.
Becca, who has achieved a lot with just one album and more than three hit singles, wants to introduce something new in her music career and something Ghanaians have never seen before to match up with the kind of musical work on her new album.
