Needless to say, the PPP still appears to be comatose from still-birth. It also does not seem likely that it will survive as a force to be reckoned with in the next elections. Even if it does, it is not likely that it will exhibit the true time tested values of a real political party that can or will encourage politically spirited members of the public to associate with, join, enhance or promote the principles - if any, of that party.
As it is, the PPP continues to happily exist on paper as just another dept or branch of the Group Nduom corporate empire with a drafted motley of mostly young subservient employees trying to make the best out of a bad situation.
In any case, any possible future success of the PPP is also predicated on the failure of the CPP to get its act in order. Should the CPP wake up from its current on-going nightmare, many comrades who left that party out of disappointment and associated with the PPP in the last elections, would definitely troop back to the CPP and leave a gaping hole in the membership and organizational statistics of the PPP.
Coming as it did from a rupture with the CPP, the PPP has, against the expectations of many, failed to express and assert itself as an alternative or at best, another Nkrumaist party. It has continued to hedge and dither and to remain politically schizophrenic or at best, ideologically unprincipled in outlook. Many observe this lapse with such deep suspicion that the PPP leader has often-times been publicly castigated as an agent of imperialist interests - to put it politely.
Worse of all, the PPP stumbles on as a largely undemocratic and a structurally obtuse organization in its internal arrangements.
My gut opinion tells me that the PPP had a good opportunity to make an indelible and long-lasting impression on the the Ghanaian electorate in the last elections. Such an impression would have firmly registered the PPP in the hearts and minds of Ghanaians as a truly viable and God-sent alternative to the on-going chaos and madness in the political domain.
If the newly registered PPP had for now, put aside the inordinately ridiculous and over-enthusiastic ambition to win the Presidency after the limited election campaign of only a few months and rather concentrated on perhaps 30 parliamentary seats around the country, they could, with all the resources which was evidently available to them, have won at least 5 or 10 seats in parliament. This would have created a historically earth-shattering effect in the political terrain of Ghana and placed the PPP in better stead to make greater gains in future elections.
However the authoritarian leadership of the Party apparently thought otherwise and rather absurdly went for broke in a manner that can only aptly be described in plain common language as stupid. Sad to say, that tragic misadventure has firmly put a cap on the future fortunes of the Party. How the Party can extricate itself from the consequences of that faux pas, remains to be seen.

This farmer has 500 hens but no cock after leaving the CPP Poultry farm so he goes to his neighbor and asks him if he could buy a new cock for $100.
The neighbor says, "You can have this cock. His name's Nduom. He'll get all your hens pregnant. He's a real stud."
So the farmer takes him home and says, "It's your first day so take it slow, okay?"
The farmer puts Nduom in the hen house and then hears all the hens crying and yelling. Nduom nailed every one of those hens and then nailed a duck and a goose at a pond.
The next morning the farmer finds Nduom lying dead with his legs sticking in the air and Vultures circling overhead.
The farmer says, "Nduom, did you have to die?"
Nduom says, "Quiet! They're about to land and i will fuck them too"
NDUOM WAS A STRAY COCK THAT LEFT THE CPP,NOW HE IS LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS WHICH MAY BE A TOUGH BATTLE.

PPP and Nduom must take note. If Everybody is made to feel important in the PPP that will be great! Something different. No hero worshipping.

Where are all these smart people when the PPP needed them? Why do they hide behind the desk and shoot from the computers? Are they not waiting for the same one man to fund everything so that they will come and reap what they have not sown and blame him when he fails? What is stopping them from being visible and contributing from the grassroots on up?
Talk is really cheap, indeed! If these writers want the PPP to progress, they must get out of the comfortable confines and get dirty in the villages and towns. They must not leave it to Dr. Nduom alone and expect miracles. Yes, he is the main man but he will need help from the same writers and loudmouth pessimists to help the party get rid of the NDC and NPP. Ghana needs help, and I see the PPP as the best hope for us. AWAKE!

In the PPP, the boss (Nduom) gives the orders - good or bad, including appointments to various offices of the Party and everyone must either tow the line, or fall in line. In his own little Party, he fears democratic competition. It is not possible to engage or attract intelligent or committed people in such an outfit. This in itself gives an indication of how unfit he Nduom is to become a President of this country.
