Footy-ghana.com understands that former Black Stars captain John Mensah has been asked to return some cars he took from his wife, Henrietta Mensah.
The couple is currently embroiled in a divorce case and both parties met at the Accra High Court 10 on Tuesday.
Footy-ghana.com gathers that the presiding judge, Justice Doris Bempong asked Mensah why he had taken four of the five cars away from the couple’s residence at Trasacco Valley, adding that since the remaining car at Mrs. Mensah’s disposal was not in good condition, the defender should return at least two of the remaining cars.
With that request from the presiding judge, the hearing was brought to an end with proceedings set to continue on November 27.
John Mensah paid an amount of GH¢1000 for his children’s upkeep at an earlier hearing last week.
