The nation’s largest general insurer, SIC Insurance Company Limited has inaugurated its reconstituted Board of Directors at a brief ceremony held at the Head Office in Accra on Thursday November 14, 2013. Mrs. Felicity Acquah, who chairs the new Board, has pver 30 years experience in banking and business development. She has served in senior positions at the ADB Bank, National Investment Bank, Merchant Bank and Women’s World Banking.
She served as the Managing Director of Eximguaranty Company Limited, one of the leading financial institutions for ten years and she is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana.
Other members of the Board are Mrs. Doris Awo Nkani, the Managing Director, Ms. Nancy Dakwa Ampofo, Dr. Sydney Yayah Laryea, Justice Benjamin Tetteh, Mr. Ato Pobee Ampiah, Mr. Robert Sackey and Mr. Fiifi Gyabra Forson. In her introductory speech, Mrs. Felicity Acquah said the insurance industry has become very competitive and therefore there is the need for all to work hard for the company to achieve all its set targets. SIC Insurance Company Limited has over the past 50 years delivered excellent and quality insurance products and services to its customers in Ghana and beyond.
