Tell us all where Akufo-Addo did his pupillage to qualify as a lawyer, a strong requirement at Middle Temple!
Tell us why Akufo-Addo couldn't do his pupillage, which was why he wasn't accredited and had no option but to go and do some administrative work at Coudert and Freres (Brothers) in Paris, France, only to be sneaked into the Ghana Bar by the cronies at the General Legal Council.
And does losing serial Presidential elections qualify him as a "consummate politician"?
You are as confused, desperate, and pitiable as the unfulfilled Akufo-Addo that you are wasting your breadth attempting to whitewash.

In Okoampa's last article he refered to the NDC govt as a govt of Atinga and Trokosi. People like him makes it easy for the DNC to tag the NPP as an Akan supremaicst party and the message sells so easily to the minority.
Some of our Akan brothers and sisters in the NPP need to start checking their tongues and also need to control their political emotions.
If not they will continue to play into the hands of the minority as a tribal supremacist party which the NPP had assumed since the Nkrumah days, simple as that.

Well, why Bawumia and co can be living in denial, as if a lll is well, justifies the insults on us. If the Akyem/Ashanti caucus identify a foolish northerner who is useful to them, like Bawumia, they use all kinds of tricks to make him feel special. People like Bawumia and Afoko feel that the insults are on other northerners but not them. But let Bawmia pit himself against an Ashanti/Akyemand it is there he will come to terms that he is really a pepe.
How can you rain insults on Mahama because of his ethnic background but not as an individual, but turn round to say that such insults don't apply to Bawumia or Afoko? It is Bawumia who should answer this question.

There is a difference between truth and fabrication just as there are differences between principled existence and lives of hypocrites Ayanya. Who is an Akan and what are their positive contributions to the peace, tranquility, development and advancement of this beloved country we call Ghana? The author of this useless article Thomas Kofi Kyeremeh proudly says he live in Germantown, Maryland where I am sure he has heard of the nigger name calling. Yet this hypocrite who more likely traded his Ghanaian citizenship for a US citizenship could shamelessly engage in write-ups that incite the malcontents here in Ghana to hate without considering the source of these types of write ups.
To you Ayanya and Kofi Kyeremeh I ask, which tribes in Ghana stood on the grounds of delusional superiority over other tribes? Did that mirage go away from the pathetic minds of the generation thereafter? When did the superior tribe crap leave most in the NPP? For once Kofi Kyeremeh and you Ayanya should be bold and unapologetic about the burden you carry thinking you hail from a superior tribe and then and only then will you free your minds from slave shackles. Should either or both of you should accept that the superiority crap indeed exists amongst some tribes mostly in the NPP then would you admit that it has a hold on the collective ability to elect people who are members of the so-called inferior tribes to lead the NPP party? The problem from the article written by Kofi Kyeremeh is that neither Akufo-Addo nor Kofi Kyeremeh knows facts from fiction. In their world Nana Akufo-Addo is a success story for all the poor saps here in Ghana to wish for or desire.
As I have said and will repeat here again there are far more intelligent Ghanaians here at home whose abilities and potential for greatness have been stifled because of the lack of opportunities and each one of them have a better chance to contribute towards a better Ghana than Nana Akufo-Addo and or Kofi Kyeremeh ever could. Any Ghanaian and or ex-Ghanaians in the Diaspora who writes to promote tribal animus in Ghana is not a man or woman of intellect but sorry excuse of a human being incapable of principled and moral existence; they live to regret their folly.

I am not sure the author, who I believe did once, or more, wrote to decry the animus between Brongs and Ashantis, leading from the Techiman-Ashanti fracas of last year fully appreciate the concerns of non-Akans and level-headed Akans about the recent surge of tribal disrespect some of our folks engage in.
Where has Mr. Kyeremeh been all these years when the likes of Dr. Okoampa-Ahoofe Jr. blatantly insult other Tribes? Has Kofi Kyeremeh been conveniently oblivious of the fact that people would fight back in kind after a long period of marginalization and dehumanization?
Or, he has been absent from this forum for too long? If we want to be seen as credible on this issue, we must be bold to take both sides task when they so viciously and crudely pour disparaging, even dehumanizing epithets on other tribes for the one action we may disagree with by someone from another Tribe.
The days of separatism based on Tribal superiority complexes are largely forgotten by the Public, and blessedly so. We do not have to rekindle those sentiments anytime we feel a little under pressure. Even Dr. Busia, who I believe, Mr. Kyeremeh relates to, and led the Federalist UP did not pursue those separatist goals when he came to power.
So, we have to learn to cohabit in Peace in this Unitary Nation of ours wisely.
We need to learn how to settle our disagreements constructively as part of our National advancement and human enlightenment. If nothing at all, Mr. Kyeremeh's own sad account of how the late Wenhimanhene, Nana Mbore Bediatuo VII, wept bitterly for being banned by Busia's side of the Royal family from the latter's funeral ought to remind him that hatred, bigotry and endless grudges do not build a stronger family, Society or a Nation but tear it up into ruination.
It pays to be fair and tolerant even when we express or protest injustice to us by others.
Long Live Ghana!!!

While I agree with your general sentintments, I wish to point out that Busia may not have made a conscious policy to pursue a tribalistic agenda but his actions showed otherwise. The real genesis of the present wave of tribalism can be traced back to Busia - from the electioneering campaign to his 27 months rule. Before Busia, tribalism in our country was just a harmless joke of one tribe on another. But after Busia, it became something else. G. K., I don't know if you were old at that time but for me, I remember it well as I had started secondary school by the time of the 1969 elections. Since then, tribalism became a diabolical factor in our politics. A pity, a great pity indeed especially for those of us who still remember a Ghana without tribal tensions of any nature whatsoever!

It is even sinful for you to suggest that Busia excerbated tribalism in Ghana. I attended a boarding school in Ghana where there were all sorts of people from every part of Ghana, and I can assure readers that there was not a scintilla of evidence of tribalism on our campus. On the contrary, we lived together as brothers.

Sometimes you people irritate me with your double standards. But I don't blame you, yes I blame these northerners who allow themselves to be used by hypocrites like you who later inflict more poverty on them through SADA, GYEEDA, etc. The funny aspect of this pathetic story is that northerners themselves are silent in the face of all these dehumanization and disrespect shown them by President Mahama and his bunch of senseless thieves. They praise him during the day and crccy painfully when the sun sets.
How can you be shown respect if you sacrifice your brains and dignity for people who never seek your interest because of stupid tribal sentiments. Even the NPP who are malliciously labelled as anti-northerners will never show this kind of contempt towards northerners.
Anyone with brains should open his or her eyes. This is 21st Century. Lazy minds will be left behind.

Why do you people think every Ghanaian is against you? Why no other Akan groups but you Ashanti/Akyems alone? You can continue to fool a few northerners but not all of them. Look at the way Mr. Paul Afoko is being treated? And you want discerning Ghanaiasns to buy this shit that you have put up here? The writer should grudgingly accept the fact that the NPP's embrace of Bawumia was just a facade....under which is a deep resentment of northerners, and we know it........
Kyeremah's attempt to sanitize the NPP bigotry is proof positive that some southerners would never learn.....from the party's vulgar treatment of the late vice president, Aliu Mahama who was inexplicably denied an opportunity to vie for the Presidency.
This was a golden opportunity for the party to shed its bigoted image, but the southerners would not allow a pepeni to spearhead the effort to capture the presidency....so, Kyeremeh, please spare us this anger about Bokor's rants. As a northerner,
I am really offended by the treatment northerners continue to get from their southern counterparts....we are derided, made fun of, and viewed with contempt by southerners...this is a historical realism, and there is no denying that fact.....let give you a personal example, painful as it is....I have a close friend who is a southerner.....we have been pals for well over 20 years...his daughter whose christening I attended almost 18 years ago, did not know I am a northerner until her dad told my true origins...and then she blurted out this statement, 'Is he a kayayo' innocuous as this statement may appear, it does capture the essence of what southerners do to northerners, contempt, disdain and ugly depiction.
Just look at what the current President is going through.....the numerous attacks on him, the scathing articles on Ghanaweb depicting him as a northerner in the most derogatory terms, a clueless imbecile and incompetent bastard are just too numerous to counter the argument that the NPP honestly wants Bawumia at the helm........Take heart that Ghana will not explode in ethnic violence no matter what Bokor and his ilk spout...what needs to be done is a fundamental alteration of the NPP from its Akan-based moniker to an all inclusive party. And to cap that, Bawumia or any other qualified northerner should be made the 2016 presidential candidate...then and only then can you Kyeremeh come out and assert your party is not tribal....

It is this formula which is referred as the Ashanti project. By the way, the statistic is all there for you to check. Well meaning NPP persons are aware of this NDC project. In every election, therefore, the NDC prosecutes the Ashanti Projects so vigorously that the crossing of the 500,000 mark in the Ashanti region calls for a big celebration . I'm particularly happy for this insightful piece of information. Truth is that not only akans, but MOST SOUTHERNERS including those minority tribes like the Ewes, Gas, Nzemas all make ethnocentric comments about northerners. But because most of these people speak TWI and sometimes use AKAN NAMES, they are often mistaken to be 'ASHANTIS'. Again, the fact that most NPP supporters are akans makes it easy for it to tagged as AKAN PARTY and ethnocentric which to me is unfortunate because the NDC supporters who are southerners also make derogatory comments about northerners. For the NDC and people like Borkor to therefore make it their political song by accusing others can only be described as HYPOCRITICAL. The most painful thing is that people like Borkor, who claim they abhor ethnicity are rather the ones who sing it daily just to make political gains out of it. I never knew Borkor lives in the US where most blacks often fall prey to racism. He should know better by writing articles that will unite the nation other than always attacking Nana and the NPP because two wrongs they say never make one right.
