Coach Appiah committed this tactical error during the 2013 African Cup of Nations match against Congo. He used Asamoah at the left full back position. Ghana conceded a goal from Asamoah position. The Nation (Ghana was humiliated at the 2013 AFCON games. He told the nation after tournament that he has learnt from his mistakes. Here we are he had done the same thing again. Please tell me, how can any reasonable person to repeat his known mistakes?
Ghana qualified for the World Cup tournament because the players were eager to play in the world and not on coach Appiah’s tactical prowess. Coach Appiah does not have a core unit. He is always trying new players. He should have brought coach Milo to assist him since he had no any prior full time coaching experience. His assistant Konadu is clueless, and he has no business to be on bench. I have no problem for anyone being a nationalist, but coach Appiah is not seasoned to handle such a difficult task. He has ruined the players’ determination to excel in this tournament.
