Should Germany beat USA then Ghana stands a better chance of qualifying if the Black Stars beat Portugal by at least two goals margin. Portugal has 4 goals deficit whilst Ghana has on goal deficit. USA has one goal advantage. It means Portugal must beat Ghana by at least three or four goals difference to qualify if Germany beats the US by one goal difference. Both Ghana and Portugal will be going in for the kill in an effort to qualify and hope that Germany will beat US. However, the results of Ghana-Portugal match will be meaningless should Germany and US draw.

Hopes and promises must be driven by faithful commitment to hard work. In the Black Stars case, especially now, they must keep that commitment to the last second of their next game.
We heard of similar hopes and promises to beat the German Team before the Black Stars played them. But the Stars let down their guard for a moment before the final whistle and that cost us the win.
The Black Stars failed to match the German Offense tightly to the end. Thus, the faithful commitment was relaxed momentarily and the Black Stars paid for that.
In both our Games, it was through Corner Kicks that the Black Stars conceded goals that denied them a win. So, I would hope the Players and Coaches are working on defending better in Corner Kicks. More, the Portuguese are good with long range shots as observed in their Game with the USA. The Stars' Goalie must be attentive all the time and make timely interventions. Ronaldo must not be the only target of the Black Stars' close match. Nani and their entire Offense and Mid-Field must be fully contained to the last whistle. Then, the Black Stars should watch their tackling in the '18' to avoid cheap penalties called against them.
If the Stars could do all the above in addition to how they played against the Germans, they would pull through to the next round. I hope to see Fatau in Goal and more of Essien, Kevin and Adoma in this coming Match for survival.
If the Stars survive, they might have just pushed the USA out of the Contest, again, but from a different angle. That would be most interesting.
