  MESSI DIDNT DESERVE THE AWARD. HE PLAYED WOEFULLY IN THE SEMIS AND THE FINAL GAMES. UP UNTIL THAT POINT, MESSI HAS BEEN VERY INSTRUMENTAL FOR HIS TEAM, ALL THE WAY UP UNTIL THE QUARTER FINAL. AN MVP IS A PLAYER WHO IS ABLE TO TURN UP THE VOLUME/MOVE HIS GEAR TO THE NEXT LEVEL. REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY DOUBLE TEAMS, SHUTDOWNS YOU PLACE ON HIM. UNFORTUNATELY, MESSI DIDNT LIVE UP TO THAT. I THINK THE GOLDEN BALL AWARD SHOULD HAVE GONE TO A DUTCH PLAYER

  If only Fifa is not a criminal and bais gang, Messi would not have been given that award. There are many players out there who deserved that award more than Messi. The bais should stop now. That is why many of us who have clean conscience would not be part of that gang. Shame onto the entire Fifa hierarchy for awarding Messi the golden Boot. He did not deserve it the least.Shame!
