The Private University Student Association of Ghana (PUSAG) has launched its press corps which will help disseminate information of its activities and projects to it members at all time.
At the launch here in Accra, the national president of the private university student association of Ghana PUSAG, Benjamin Panlogo-Logodam said the need has come for institutions and student union to strengthening its partnership with the media such that the information, ideals and other activities presented by student union will well disseminated to members and the entire general public.
Benjamin Panlogo at the occasion also launched its 8th national annual delegates congress 2014, which comes off at the central University College, Miotso campus slated from 18th to 21st September, 2014.
The theme for the congress is: "The need for a revolutionary and transformational leadership, the role of the private universities in Ghana.”
According to him, revolutionary and Transformational leadership is now a major consideration in every aspect of life as far as leadership success is concerned.
This type of leadership he said has deals with innovation and creativity for change which could be gradually or painstakingly walking the majority of the people into the desired future.
With respect to upcoming congress, he said delegates and aspirants are to arrive at the congress ground on 18th September, 2014, inasmuch as the official opening is slated on the 19th September.
He said the congress will be chaired by professor Yankah the president of the conference of independent universities and also the guest of honour is Dr. Patrick Awuah the president of Ashesi university college and the Minister of education will be a guest.
The president said detailed program lineup for this year’s congress will be communicated to all members from Monday 15th September, 2014.
