Hmmm, prices of fuel is something that responsible governments do not usually touch. The moment it it goes up, it affects everything. Very soon, even the air we breath, we have to pay for.

When the former president kuffour increased the fuel price by 50% during his time, only 5% increment in lorry fare was allowed and it was accepted. What is happening this days to allowed drivers to increase the fare by 20% when the fuel price is increased by 30%. Even when the Government reduced the fuel price by 10%, drivers refused to reduce the fare. Now that it was increased by 9% they are again preparing to increase the fare. What is the meaning of this. Mr. President, watch your saboteurs very well before they cripple the economy. Thank you

Fact is,members of this Government are so arrogant that, the Government has lost any goodwill,if ever they had any, locally as well as internationally. In today's World people and nations need to build good relationship among each other, but members of this government insult anybody, whether a Ghanaian or a Foreign official who dare advise them to change their ways.So nobody is prepared to make any compromise with them.Even Donor Countries who were supporting Ghana during Kuffour's time have withdrawn their support, because of the arrogance and corruption of Government officials. So why should Transport owners sacrifice and not increase transport fares when government increase the price of petroleum products in the face of the hardships in the Country?

Don't be ignorant. What was the world market price for crude at Kuffour's time and what is it now? Ghana did not export crude at the time of Kuffour. That commodity should be tackled with tact, wisdom and diplomacy.

Ghana is really a failed state. How on Earth can this nonsense go on in a real civilized country with a government? The sachet water plastic chokes the gutters and destroys the coastal bleeding fish shore of the Atlantic in Ghana, somehow, the so called government of Ghana do not realize this, and to add insult to injury, allowed the producers of sachet water to charge any amount they want for this nuisance to cleanliness in our cities. What a pity! By way when we were kids in the 60's Fan Milk was sold in a paper carton; which bio-degradable, somehow, these hopeless governments over the past twenty years have stuffed their eyes/noses with greed and corruption to the extent that they cannot smell the stench from the choked gutters, due to the plastic waste. Ghanaians should wake up from their slumber and get rid of this so-called democratic system of government which cannot guarantee simple electricity for the country despite the availability solar/wind(turbine) energy, since the SUN/WIND is there and free for all citizens of this World to use, not to mention lack of constant water supply in the Ghanaian household, when there is abundant supply of water underground which can be used to feed the pipelines of every household in Ghana; not to mention the big Atlantic along the coast of Ghana, which will supply water for Ghana till the end of time. Ghanaians open your eyes and stop voting for NDC and NPP. All Ghanaian should make a conscious effort to vote for a president who is neither NDC nor NPP. This is the time, otherwise, Ghana is doomed forever.

Do you really see what the Ghanaian is going through? I can only be convinced that you see our plight if highly placed public officials who misapply, steal, dvert for private use our money are brought to book. I expect to see a cut of at least 50% in public officials' remuneration.
This measure will convince me that you care. Otherwise forget.......
