The Badminton Association of Ghana (BAG), has selected eight players for the 2015 All Africa Games (AAG), in Brazzaville, Congo.
The players made up of four males and four females have since been in residential camping preparing for the competition.
Ignatius Elletey, General Secretary of BAG said in an interview that Daniel Sam, Emmanuel Yaw Donkor, Micheal Opoku Baah and Abraham Aryitey will make up the male team with Gifty Mensah, Grace Atipaka, Victoria Asmah and Eunice Arthur completing the female team.
He said four players have also been placed on a stand-bye. They are Eric Attahninkyi, Michael Sam, Pearl Mamah and Eyiram Migbodzi.
Elletey said the selection was made after series of trials in and outside Ghana.
He said the players are in the best of shapes and will make Ghana proud at the competition.
