Sometimes I feel like going out there, arresting all those involved in such shameful projects and shoot them one after another. Is it not shameful for someone like the former boss of VRA to come out with such startling figur ...

If you add the cost of the barges expected from Turkey to the cost of the wasted projects he mentions, we could have initiated solar projects. Instead we waste money on thermal plants. Visionless leadership.

  • Ofori Italy 8 years ago

Lord help us. Nothing works in Ghana so are you telling me the engineers from UST can not get a single plant to produce electricity? What a nation . Black man with black brain . Two third year students from Florida Institute ...

Our power problem is not entirely technical. It is more to do with people in the political arena not being able to make the right decisions on our energy-mix requirements. Wrong people are calling the shots.

My dear friend Kweku (AWOS), you have made my day. What did you try to do with the issues you have mentoned when you were the CEO? And why did they replace you with Kirk Cofie who does not have the pedigree you have? You prep ...

Oh, that's mighty big of you, hiding behind a screen to talk smack. You are not fit to eat the boogers from Awotwe's nose. So, yes, you should be the one to STF up!!!

Wow! You knew this? And yet you were frustrating Sunon Asogli?

  • jagadu 8 years ago

Fools like you should be castrated. This guy Awotwe is the most educated VRA CEO that Ghana ever had. The problem is that the the government could not stand his style of American hardwork and accountability. The bottom line i ...

I wonder when Ghana would see progress. Unfortunately the honest people are always haunted or intimidated at work places.
Waa look at the waste. Hmm judgement awaits all of us.

Take a minute to ask why T3 and the 126 MW Diesel Engines are not producing any power. All they require is to be fueled. Sierra Leone has seen the usefulness of the Diesel Engines and are renting some of them from us. We coul ...

These are genuine concerns raised but I wonder why you kept mute over them when you were CEO. Did you fear that you would be sacked. This is a little too late.

  • Kofi Mensah 8 years ago

So why did you, as our boss, tried so hard to put impediments in the way of the Asogli Power people?

  • Dabo 8 years ago

You were once a boss at VRA what did you do about the situation then?

  • Kofi 8 years ago

VRA does not decide, the ignorant politicians do. That is the problem the nation is facing.

  • Energy Expert 8 years ago

Complete lies! Reason why energy is not being produced is because there is no fuel, period. Don't come and waste our ears. Yourself, were you not head of VRA, what did you do about it. Complete nonsense!!!

  • Kwabena Bediako. 8 years ago

He was sacked because he told the politicians the Truth. Awotwi is a true professional unlike many others.

  • Nana 8 years ago

There is so much politics in Ghana for technocrats like Awotwi. Why did NPP buy the "toys" while Osagyefo barge was not being used or underused? Was it b'cos NDC NDC1bought it? And why did NDC2 abandoned the "toys"? Was it b ...
