Division One League club, Karela FC held its first ever awards night on Saturday 3rd October 2015 at Karela Beach Resort in Bayin at the Jomoro district in the Western Region.
Karela, formerly Metro Sporting Club but now owned by former Nigeria Senator Mr David Kobina Brigidi awarded dedicated and excellent players in the just ended GN Bank Division One League.
Aron Osei won the best player of the season with Francis Tetteh been voted as the most discipline player.
Sampson Eduku who scored 18 goals for the club this season was recognised and awarded as such.
At the event, Frimpong Manso promised the management of the team that he will qualify them to the Premier League next season.
Karela FC placed 5th in the just ended Zone Two Division One League and the management believe the team will play in the Premier League in 2017.
