Ghana goalkeeper Richard Ofori believes his side would be able to conserve their 2-1 lead against Cote D’Ivoire in the return leg of the 2016 African Nations Championship scheduled for Friday October 30 in Abidjan.

After scoring a vital away goal, the Ivorians are confident of a possible victory at home in front of local fans, coupled with an incentive of $2000 for each player promised by the football federation.

However, Ofori remains unfazed and assures that the Black Stars would get the job done.

“We came here for business. We know what we are here for, which is picking the ticket for the Chan 2016. We are not scared of such incentives or the presence of fans,” Ofori told Goal Ghana.

“We are professionals and what professionals do is: they mind their business. Our team have the right potential to resist the Elephants across 90 minutes.

“We will do our best to keep the 2-1 advantage unscathed but also make sure we score an away goal here like they did in Ghana,” he said.

In the absence of Fatau Dauda, who was dropped due to injury, Ofori will be taking care of the post. However, he does not envisage an eventual penalty shootout to decide the winner of the clash.

“Believe me! This game will not go into penalty shootout. Ghana will emerge as winners at the end of the 90 minutes.”

The match kicks off at 15h30 at the Stade Champroux in Abidjan.
