Ghana forward Ebenezer Assifuah
Ghana and FC Sion forward, Ebenezer Assifuah, in a 2018 World Cup qualifiers post-match interview emphasized that his performance will determine his call up to the senior national team, the Black Stars.
The 2013 U-20 World Cup golden boot winner, who has been in sensational form for FC Sion this season scoring against English side- Liverpool FC in the Europa league, has recently earned a number of call ups to the Black Stars but has seen few minutes on the pitch.
“Well, my performance will determine my call ups. So, I’m only praying that I will hit top form and keep on working harder to earn me more call ups.”
Assifuah featured for Ghana at both the African Youth Championship in Algeria and the World Cup in Turkey where Ghana placed silver and bronze respectively with him winning the Golden Boot accolade.
