English club Arsenal have offered Ghanaian midfielder Ismail Abdul Razak a trial in December as they look for cover for their injured players.

The 26-year-old will be assessed by the Gunners at London Colney before a decision is taken on whether to sign him when the January transfer window opens.

Abdul Razak, who last played for Spanish club Real Valladolid, is reported to have held extensive talks with officials of Arsenal last week towards handing him a trial.

The club have now decided to take a closer look at the Ghanaian midfielder who can also play as a center back.

Arsenals are on the quiet looking for replacements to fill up gaps in their first team squad which has been hit with injuries.

Francis Coquelin who has been immense for Arsenal at the start of the season is out for three months, forcing Arsene Wenger to look for alternative options.

Abdul Razak who started his career in Israel with Hapoel Acre is currently a free agent after terminating his three-year contract at Real Valladolid.
