Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara says the federation is forced to box together activities in its calendar over the delayed start of the 2015/16 season.
The start of the new Ghana Premier League season has been held up over lingering litigation by clubs supposed to have been promoted to the top flight.
Cases have been launched against Dreams FC and Techiman City FC challenging their qualification to the Premier League.
The GFA insists it will wait until all these outstanding legal issues are cleared before going ahead to organize the league, hence the delay.
GFA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara now concedes activities of his outfit will have to be fast-tracked in order for Ghana to catch up with the rest of the world.
“Even if we have to start the league next year, why not?” he said.
“We only have to tighten up our calendar.”
The GFA was faced with a similar problem last season where a protracted court case by King Faisal dragged the start of the league for over six months.
