Kotoko sweep awards at FirsTrust GHALCA 6 tournament

Winners Asante Kotoko won three individual awards at the just ended FirsTrust GHALCA 6 tournament in Sekondi.

Eric Ofori-Antwi was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament after his heroics saw him save a penalty in a regulation time in Sunday’s final against Aduana Stars.

Goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi was named Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament. New signing Bennett Ofori, who joined from Berekum Chelsea, was awarded Discovery of the Tournament.

Striker Kwame Boateng was adjudged the Best Player of the tournament and was joint top scorer with two goals.

Aduana Stars centre-back Yakubu Mohammed was crowned Best Defender of the Tournament.
