Medeama SC midfielder Enock Atta Adjei is targeting a win for his side when they come up against Accra Hearts of Oak in their matchday two fixture of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Yellow and Mauves lost 1-2 to defending champions, AshantiGold SC at Obuasi last Sunday and will seek to get their campaign back on track with a win over the Phobians at the Tarkwa & Aboso Park.
In a chat with Sportscrusader.com, Atta Adjei said they were disappointed with the defeat to the Miners but, have put that behind then as they look up to the Hearts of Oak game.
“That setback at Obuasi was really painful as we wanted to get our campaign off to a good a start,” he said, adding that, “we have put that behind us to prepare for the Hearts of Oak game”.
“This is a must-win game for us and we will do all within our means to get the victory that will put the smiles back on the faces of our fans,” he assured.
Sunday’s game will be a very stern examination for the home side as they will come up against a Hearts of Oak team that won their opener aginst New Edubiase United and looks to be a transformed side than the one they showed in the G6 Pre-season tourney.
But Atta Adjei is not fancied by this insisting that they have what it takes to collect the three points at stake. “We have had the better of the exchanges against them in recent times, and, will press home that advantage on Sunday,” he boasted.
