Now we know Francis Kwarteng Arthur has been axed. But we need to know how the whole thing came about. Who authorized what, how much was paid to whom, who were the printers and how did they come to get that job, etc. etc.

Ghanaians must know the full details because this incidence shows how public contracts are awarded and who benefits from what. It's been going on for long no matter the government in power. Once in a while, things get out of hand and then the public knows - like the bus branding exercise and this particular work.
As Dery says, there are now lots of printing houses in the country each struggling to get just one government contract and become rich by it. It can just be the printing of T-shirts or even Ghana flags. We must look into all these. Aren't government contracts supposed to be public?
Okay, did Asiedu-Nketia wear dress that was not fit for the weather or he wore an overcoat that was really for ladies?

I concur. We need answers to those questions, then everything will be clear and blame can be apportioned. I, strongly, believe cronyism and corruption to be at the root of this disaster.

Many of our public officers don't even KNOW how to dress well, and that lack of expertise (yes, dressing appropriately, formally, requires expert knowledge). There are numerous protocol officers in the ministries in Accra and the embassies. Any government official who has not travelled outside for two years, is given "warm clothing allowance" when he or she does. Asiedu Nketia apparently had not travelled for that long. So what did he do with his allowance after he took his wife's coat?
In this disgraceful brochure episode, the buck definitely still stops with the President. It is because he appoints incompetent people that nothing works in his government!
Can you really believe that the journalist and communicator that he is he would not have called for the brochures at least 24 hours before the function? If not then he does not deserve to be where he is!
