Well said my brother. But the saddest and most annoying aspect is that, some of them send messages asking you to subscribe to certain services at a cost. When you ignore they still go ahead and send you those messages and deduct your credit by force. When you complain, they ask you to send "stop" to that particular short code at a cost. Why must I pay before they stop a service I never subscribed to?

Why do you think the regulator looks on unconcerned? If they have to impose penalties,they will prefer to have their palms greased to look the other way.After all is that not the order of the day?

we are not that that smart in Ghana to understand these things. the telcos are abusive and the regulator NCA stands aloof. they steal your credit. they have over stepped their boundaries and are now into gambling,insurance an ... read full comment
