Dr Vormawor dies in accident

Kasoa (C/R), Oct. 27, GNA - Dr Frederick Vormawor, 37-year old Medical Superintendent in Charge of the Saltpond Government Hospital, died at the weekend following a motor accident at Kasoa. He died at the Winneba Government Hospital few hours after admission.

Dr Vormawor met his untimely death when his VW Vento car was smashed on the side by a tipper truck.

His car was damaged beyond repairs while the truck had its headlight damaged and bumper dented.

Mr. Simon Sekporwor, who was travelling on the same vehicle with the doctor escaped unhurt.

Attempt to get police personnel at Kasoa to comment on the incident proved futile as officers on duty refused to talk, saying the Station Master was unavailable.
