? Politicians and religious leaders of today are the same. While politicians are looting state coffers, religious leaders are exploiting poor members of their congregations to their advantage.
? Politicians aspiring to be parliamentarians should concentrate on their campaigns in the constituencies that they intend to contest, rather than use political platforms to malign other candidates.
? The AMA should launch an education campaign in Nima for residents to know the proper use of pavements and roads. Pavements have been turned into garages and trading spots, forcing pedestrians to walk on the roads.
? The AMA Chief Executive, Mr. Solomon Darko, has no answers to the filth that has engulfed Accra. The President should appoint people who can deliver rather than party members.
? We need people who can go into the field and work, and not those who attend international conferences or sit in their offices and give instructions. The AMA Chief Executive is a typical example. He should be removed from office.
? The very things the NPP condemned the NDC for doing are the same things the government is doing. One thing about the NPP is that it is not using physical violence against the people as the NDC did, but the NPP is using economic violence against Ghanaians.
? Hon. I.C. Quaye has not performed in the Ayawaso Central constituency, so the NDC should nominate a candidate who can wrest the seat from the NPP. Sheikh I.C. Quaye is a failure.
? The NPP government should be careful in handling cases involving company heads, when they are alleged to have been corrupt, so that these officers are not accused unjustly after investigations have exonerated them. The former Managing Director of Ghana Water Company’s case is a typical example.
? Chief Justice Acquah is very right in condemning the use of abusive language on the airways. It is sad to note that ministers and parliamentarians who appear on radio programmes indulge in such indecent acts even to the extent of exchanging blows.
? The NDC in Ayawaso Central should close their ranks and wrest the seat from the NPP because the constituents have lost confidence in the parliamentarian, Sheikh I.C. Quaye. We will vote him out in 2004.
? It will be welcome news to the world if Ghana should find a cure for AIDS. Nana Drobo and several other herbalists claimed to have found a cure for it. The government should sponsor medical personnel to work with herbalists who claim to have found a cure for AIDS.
? It is not a good piece of news that the NPP government is trying to assassinate Prof. John Atta Mills, the NDC flagbearer. When NDC was in power, it did not attempt to assassinate then candidate J.A. Kufuor when he was in the opposition.
? The MTTU should assist in reducing the rate of motor accidents on our roads. Many vehicles are plying the highways without valid documents, reflectors and worst of all, they are not roadworthy.
? I don’t see the reason why some staff of the Auditor-General’s Department were asked to proceed on indefinite leave. There are Ghanaians roaming the streets with qualifications, who can replace them but they are being ignored.
