Asante Kotoko’s assistant coach Godwin Ablordey says they have no time to be brooding over their defeat to Dwarfs as they have a big game to play against sworn rivals Hearts of Oak this weekend.
The Porcupine Warriors from a position of advantage suddenly find themselves in hot waters and in need of avoiding defeat against Hearts of Oak if they are to remain in the hunt for silverware this season.
The humbling 4-1 defeat to Dwarfs on Wednesdays has heightened the need for a response on Sunday, something Ablordey has no doubt will happen.
“We have to really forget about what happened against Dwarfs and focus more on the upcoming game,” Ablordey said
“It’s important that we look forward to what is ahead because I think teams will drop points so we need to pick the ones ahead of us to give us a chance.”
"I am very certain that we will be able to respond and get our fans smiling again."
