Workers of the Ghana Broadcasting Cooperation are expected to picket at their premises today, Monday July 25 against the board of directors.
The workers are accusing the Richard Kwame Asante led-board of mismanaging the affairs of the state broadcaster.
The workers have issued a stern warning to members of the board against stepping foot at the premises of GBC.
Starr News has gathered that the workers are bent on defying a directive by its leadership to halt the planned protects.
Divisional Union Chairman at GBC Michael Allotey told Starr News a statement will be issued today to outline what exactly is happening at the state broadcasting cooperation.
"We are stating point to point as to what is happening in GBC for people to see the damage National Media Commission [NMC]themselves have caused to us. We the leadership have tried to avert the possible picketing but sometimes when you prevent them so much they turn to attack you”, he stated.
