U-17 qualifier: Black Starlets face Burkina Faso August 7

Ghana's Under-17 team will host neighbours Burkina Faso in the first leg of the second round qualifier for the 2017 Africa U17 Championship on August 7 at the Cape Coast stadium.

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabian and his charges have been in camp since April this year trimming the rough edges ahead of the qualifier.

The youngsters face Burkina Faso after earlier opponents Liberia withdrew from the first clash.

Ghana are hoping to return to the continent’s flagship juvenile championship after being banned two years ago from the competition for fielding an over-aged player.
