Acting General Sectary of the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) John Boadu has urged party supporters and sympathizers to adopt the ‘Jehovah Witnesses” style of campaigning ahead of the December 7 election.

According to him, it is important that NPP supporters sell the party’s good message contained in its manifesto by going to every home where ever they find themselves just as Jehovah Witnesses evangelize to ensure that the Mahama-led government is voted out of power.

Addressing party supporters during the Campaign launch of the Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya West George Andah on Sunday, John Boadu who’s also the NPP National Organizer stated that Ghanaians will only be relieved from the harsh economic condition the country has been plunged into by the Mahama administration by voting against the NDC.

“What ever Mahama touches he destroys it. I beg you, with what is going on, if we don’t get out there and campaign like the Jehovah Witnesses do their evangelism but going into all nooks and crannies, this terrible government will rule us again and the economic hardship will be worse under another term of John Mahama. From now to December 7, let us all be serious about this and go to every home and campaign for the NPP. Ghanaians saw the country experience a lot of development that impacted on their lives, Akufo Addo is poised to do even better when he’s elected as President.”

Meanwhile, George Andah has vowed to retire Hanna Tetteh, Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Minister from parliament come December 7.

The former Chief Marketing Officer of the MTN and Airtel Nigeria, said as far as the constituency is concerned “…I know Hanna is bigger than I am but that’s not what is going to cause the victory.”

He was sure of victory come December 7 election, adding that he has massive support from the electorates to make his dream a reality.
